An Evening with Colorado Cheesemakers
There's a new artisan cheese shop in Highlands Ranch call Fromage to Yours owned by Jackie Rebideau, and it's fantastic! She has organized an event with 3 Colorado cheese makers, 2 beer experts (the Caps) and 2 wine experts (the Corks). Keith Miller, The Denver Wine Guy is one of the "Corks" and I am the other. The beer guys, 1 from Falling Rock Tap House and 1 from Great Divide Brewery think that beer goes better with cheese. Shirley they jest, and yes I called them Shirley, because there won't be any liquid cheese from a 1 gallon can dispensed with a pump. These are hand made artisan cheeses that require the finesse and sophistication of hand crafted wine. Prediction: Corks, 3 nil.
Here are the details:

This should be a great evening. I’ve been buying cheese from the shop for a few months now. It is simply the most original, tasty cheese I’ve found in the metro area. My kids even look forward to me coming back from a trip to Fromage to Yours.
Combine that with some great wine and beer – and wow. Very fun.
