It's Colorado Wine Week

Thanks to Governor Hickenlooper, we are basking in the glory of Colorado Wine Week 2011 (Check out the 2012 lineup). That means beginning Wednesday, you have a whole lot of wonderful to choose from. So let’s see if I can get you excited.

Colorado Wine “Tweet-Up” at Spuntino - Wed June 8th

Bonacquisti Wine Company and Spuntino are proud to host the official kick-off for Colorado Winefest, Wednesday, June 8th from 5:30-8:00 at Spuntino, 32nd & Clay. This is an informal happy hour gathering to showcase Colorado wines. A sampling of three local wines will be $6 (or $5 if you “check in” on Facebook via your mobile device). Don’t worry if you don’t know how to “Tweet”, I know you know how to drink wine. Proceeds benefit C.A.V.E. (Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology). Presented by Colorado Wino.

A Celebration of Premier Colorado Wines at the Governors Residence - Thur June 9th

If you’ve ever wanted to hang out at the Governor’s residence (mansion), Thursday is your day from 5:30p-9:00p. This event will benefit the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund and showcase award winning wines from the Colorado Cup wine competition. Here’s how we did:

Silver: 2008 Syrah, Bella Risa - Pinot Grigio, Vinny No Neck, [d] Red
Bronze: 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008 Cabernet Franc, Old Vine Zin Port

Fridays Uncorked - Winefest Edition - Friday June 10th

We’re back this Friday June 10th on Winery Row with live music from Hip Replacements Unplugged, playing acoustic rock-n-roll favorites from 6p-8p. Grilled pizza from Chef Paul and rumor has it the Denver Cupcake Truck will be on the lot too. Bring your lawn chair and like it.

Plus for fans on our Facebook page, we're offering up a deal for a glass of wine for you and a friend for Fridays Uncorked. Not a fan yet? Go ahead and "like" us. The deal will be posted Thursday.

Colorado Winefest Denver - Saturday June 11th 2p-8p

It’s been in the works for a while and now it’s here. 50 wineries from all over Colorado gettin together this Saturday at The Shops at Northfield Stapleton. Get your ticketsand look for our tent in front of Bed Bath and Beyond Bath & Body Works.
